There"s a word in Wales. where I am from, "Hiraeth" which roughly translates as "longing" or "homesickness" - I think of it as a yearning for that which does not yet exist but should!   This newsletter is in a similar vein - an experiment and way to find new perspectives. One tiny step journey on the creative path.

I set up Clear Insight Productions many moons ago in the nineties when I'd recently graduated and was about to take a solo show to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Years later I've learnt a lot about the "biz."

I'm still not always clear, insightful or productive, yet I am 100% dedicated to finding a way and to diffusing the best of arts and culture at a time when every effort (and column inch) is needed so that good practice and a variety of voice get heard about.

Keep Moving & Making

Clarity - Insight - Productivity - the idea is that one leads to another in an endless loop. That's the theory but we get stuck especially high achievers and movers 'n' shakers.

When you get stuck it takes the tiny screw drivers, as one of my coaches once said to me, to get back into action.

Arts and culture could be thought of as some kind of luxury, yet in these confused times it is the best bridge that we have.

Creativity and self-expression are our obsession here at CIP.  We are a small company dedicated to stoking up enough creativity (which also requires self-belief) so that once and for all we solve the lurking problems that cause suffering and injustice.

...the formidable Welsh singer Procter (her voice acting as an instrument)... the ensemble accompanies an incredible intervention of Procter, a singer that is a kind of cross between Cathy Berberian and the free jazz vocalist Lauren Newton. Jorge Garcia EL AMANTE

“To the singer Procter it is only necessary to be grateful to her for the opportunity the audience celebrated of re-discovering the incomparable and inimitable singularity of the beauty of the human voice. Her intervention [...] was simply dazzling for the technical solvency in the range and her versatility in having intervened in a work that demands superlative competences in order to translate the complex interior world that it expresses.”
